i might post roughs like this a bit more often up here. i just don't have the time or energy to do anything polished right now, but it felt good to at least scribble. it's been a long time since i've really drawn anything.

in other news... tonight's the Ghost Tour and it's freaking raining. i'm going to be freezing cold and wet. bah. c'mon, please stop raining. :\

Here is the Mello/Matt fanmix I did for the lovely lilbishihunter for Christmas (:whistle: i know, that was a loooong time ago). I tried to stick to songs I knew (or thought) she liked. The tone of it is skewed toward what i thought she'd like, seeing as it was made for her... but of course there's some of my meddling in there too. :P

… lucky for me the Mello/Matt relationship is up for a lot of interpretation.

Right. So no more complaining about lack of LJ update (even if it is a post I should’ve had up forever ago). My life isn’t very interesting, trust me, it’s better if I post less frequently. ;) Today is a perfect example of the mind-numbing boredom that is my life: my alarm went off at 7:00, and I said “10 more minutes” and promptly passed out until 10:00. No more Advil PM, no matter how bad my headache is or my hip hurts, not if I want to go ride in the morning anyway. :\

…I’m going to go doodle some more for my Fairytale Transformers challenge. It’s not productive, but it amuses me. My Transformers music meme, you ask? I’ll get around to finishing it eventually… maybe. And then do the Death Note one I promised I’d get around to…

Today was Spring Fling... which is the same thing as Fall Fest, really, but sounds better. :) It was great to take a break from all the final projects i've been slaving over and run around like a crazy person.

so yeah. it was great. and my huge unit plan and all the lesson plans are done and it's just a matter of organizing the binder an handing it in. that's one less scary final project. :whew: now i just gotta get the last term paper done...

RAVAGE!!! :does a happy dance: i totally freaked out and i feel bad for anyone sleeping in 'cause i was totally loud about it. XD he's the only obvious one confirmed by the trailer, but then there's probably Soundwave... and possibly Tidalwave with the huge ship? or it could just be a huge ship. that's the problem with Transformers. XD i'd love it if they used Tidalwave though. not that i really like him, it's just when i think of him i think about how Jetfire cut his turret nipple in half in that one ep. Woooo. I did pretty well on no spoilers for TF2 to make it up to this point. i stumbled on a few... one of which baffles me completely. O.o but still, not bad.

Right. So as some of you know I got to cross something very important off my bucket list on New Year's Eve... I got to see my favorite band They Might Be Giants in concert at the Theater of the Living Arts in Philadelphia. It was quite possibly one of the best experiences of my life, right up there with the Christmas when i learned Victor was mine.

Muaaaaaaah! Srsly, i cannot stop squeeing over the awesomeness of it all.

I was pretty depressed/stressed at the beginning of this week and spent the majority of my time alone in my room alternating between doodling, studying and playing Megaten. But at least I got some scribbles done. They’re SMT doodles this time. I’ve been using my free time to continue working on my game script :shock: I know, those of you who knew about that thought I’d given up, hadn’t you? It takes a lot of time to do, but it’ll be worth it in the end. Although I’m annoyed because recently someone posted online a game script for it, which hadn’t been there before- the whole reason why I started to do my own. Oh well. I feel more confident in my script, since then any mistakes are my own. I don’t like relying on someone else to do it for me. I’m also recording relevant conversations with demons and souls not directly in the cut-scenes and describing the action scenes to the best of my ability, so whatever.

Besides, since I’m cosplaying Nocturne this year, I’m taking studying Isamu’s growth throughout the game very seriously so I can accurately portray him at Otakon. Lucky for me, we’re rather similar… if anyone says I’m more like Chiaki I’ll break your face. Despite the fact that such a threat makes me sound like her. O.o;;

Don’t worry, I’m still planning on doing my DN music meme and I also found another meme I want to give a shot (I’ll probably tag you guys with it, so be prepared. It’s a drawing one, but I think I’ll alter it and add an option that allows for a written response so L-iza can join in). I’ll see if I can get them done now that I’m on break. But this is me, so no promises. X3

In the meantime… have some doodles and ramblings on Nocturne. I could spend HOURS discussing this game. I wish more people were familiar with it so I had more people to ramble on about it with. Warning: this is image and musing heavy. Give the lengthy rambles a shot if you can stomach it, even if you don’t understand all the background knowledge of the game. I think some of it might still prove interesting. And it might tempt you to give the game a shot… :nudge nudge:

On a non Nocturne related thought- finals sucked. And KAMI. I’ve gotten enough chocolate from various people this week for xmas and finals that I have a collection large enough to keep Mello occupied for half a day. That may not sound impressive but… think about it. MELLO. :O sad part is that I don’t even like chocolate all that much. But it’s kept me awake when drooling over notes, so I guess it all works out in the end.

Also, while we’re on the subject of Mello… HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! And happy day early bday to Matsuda while I’m at it… I think his is tomorrow anyway. (is too lazy to make sure). I feel bad because I’m home, so Mello didn’t get a drawing on my whiteboard for his birthday. Ah well. I‘ll include him in the board for Matt‘s bday perhaps. L didn‘t get one either as I was uber busy over Halloween. I‘ll try harder next year. :\

One final rambling (then I’m done, I promise)… :ahem: get ready for it… THE DEMZ IS GETTING A NEW LAPTOP TOMORROW~!!! I’m on such a high right now it’s not even funny. X3 SQUEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE. I’ll let you guys know what I name it when I get to meet it tomorrow (the Geek Squad’s making it all purty and stuffs for me. W00t.) I’m thinking I’ll NOT name it after an evil computer this time. Sorry Vol Opt, you’ve served me well, but you just don’t have enough RAM to keep up. :pets laptop: I still love you though. You’ve been a hardy computer for… what, five…six years? And you were a cheapo bargain-rack buy even back then. At least you get to be reused by my dad now, I‘d feel bad getting rid of you completely. :hug:
